Has Synchronet ever been tested with 10 or more users connected at the same time? Has IRC or any chat features been tested with 10 or more users? I'm curious to know how well Synchronet holds up with a large load of users online at the same time. I don't know how a SysOp could even get 10 or more users to connect at the same time to test it but I think it would be an interesting project. I would be curious to know what the min processor and ram requirements would be to handle let's say 20 users online at the same time without any lag.
Just thinking out loud that's all. Maybe some SysOps ran Synchronet boards when IRC was craze and users were downloading and chatting all at the same time.
... For certain people, after fifty, litigation takes the place of sex.
