Tonight I went ahead and did git update for the BBS and trying to understand what stepps I missed.
Step 1 Shutdown BBS
Step 2 git -C /sbbs/repo pull
Step 3 cd /sbbs/repo/src/sbbs3; make RELEASE=1 symlinks
Step 4 Restart BBS
That all went with no issues.. I was personally looking for sysavail.js that was posted tonight. I don't have that in the /sbbs/exec folder however it is in the /sbbs/repo/exec folder.
Am I missing a step to move the new files over? Kinda thought the make command would be doing that? I am looking at http://wiki.synchro.net/install:nix#updating for reference.
You would need to copy or symlink the repo/exec diretory to your sbbs/exec directory. I'll get that clarified in the wiki.
