    Hi there,

    I'd like to connect my BBS to usenet but I could not find how to do
    it. There is some information about how to configure the synchronet at http://wiki.synchro.net/module:newslink?s[]=newslink but how do I create
    an account to the gateway?

    I'm not sure what you mean by "gateway" in this context, but you need to have an account on an USENET server. There are very inexpensive plans at https://www.astraweb.com/

    aioe.org is a good, responsive and free provider. You're welcome to use i2pn2.org, which is also free (and also a peer of aioe).

    Once you get synchronet and newslink configured, you connect to a "gateway" or usenet provider just like a newsreader. Newslink pulls new articles and posts as a news client would.
