  • Can't get the Node configured properly

    I get an error message after doing an AREAFIX to the boss node at 954:895/1 from my
    system at 954:895/35

    The error read:

    Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v7.0
    Areafix Request Manager Report

    NO ACCOUNT ESTABLISHED! CONTACT SYSOP TO ESTABLISH ACCOUNT!

    In the header is says my system is 954:895/0 when it should really be 954:895/35
    This is why I don't ever receive a response back from AREAFIX to get connected to the
    conferences.

    I'm not sure why it is sending my system as /0 when it is defined as /35

    You can look at the sbbsecho.log file for when it's exporting that areafix request - it should state what address the request is being sent (exported) from.

    This is why I don't ever receive a response back from AREAFIX to get connected to the
    conferences.

    Check your sbbsecho.log file. Also, how are you sending the areafix request (e.g. loggeed into terminal server and using the 'N'etmail command from the email menu)?
