  • SlyEdit config changes

    If I make a change to SlyEdit.cfg, do I need to do anything to make it take effect? It's in the 'ctrl' directory and there not one in 'mods'.

    I tried changing a couple options to false to see when changes take effect, but I just can't seem to make it work (changed end screen and quote initials). It's just JavaScript, so I thought it'd just happen as soon as I wrote the file and chose post or reply when logged in.

    Am I missing a step? I'm logged in as a sysop.

    SlyEdit reads its configuration file once when it first starts up. So any changes you make will take effect the next time SlyEdit runs. It doesn't monitor or read its configuration file in real-time.
