  • tickit path undefined

    got a question. just added the fidonet filebone, and the paths are setup in scfg, but when tickit runs it can't find the path for the area.

    the path in scfg -> file areas -> fidonet -> "daily list" is: /SBBS-Files/Files/FidoNet/fidonet_dailylis which exists and is writeable.

    where can i find where the "path" is defined for tickit?

    It's defined in /sbbs/ctrl/tickit.ini

    You can use a tool (/sbbs/exec/ticketcfg.js) to create/edit that, or
    edit it manually with a text editor.

    Read carefully about the differences between 'Path' and 'Dir'. You
    can't define both, and you probably want 'Dir'.

    OK so i saw them in the ini but not in the editor thingy.

    what I eventually did was delete all the fido areas and also delete the tickit.ini file then re added the file areas and re-ran init-tickit.js

    then running tickit.js it worked... will have to keep an eye on it.

    im wondering if it's because it didnt like "FIDONET_" as the preamble for the area code.. I shortened it to "FIDO_" when i readded them

    weird.

    "FIDONET_" would work the same. That's not the issue.
