    This is by design. However, you can now set ciolib_initial_scaling to be a value below 1.0 which sets the scaling factor relative to the display size.

    This was address with the addition of uifc.ini and app-specific (e.g. scfg.ini) support in commit 834c21eb95ffd488fbcf4ff45d774d2eab39cf1e and follow-ups.
