• scfg doesn't clone access reqauirements

I setup a new network with one group having SYSOP as the access requirement. My template group has an empty access requirement.

When I set that group as the default template group and did a clone, it added SYSOP to all the groups after it. Now, I cannot change the access requirement using clone. I have to manually go in and clear out the requirement.

Assuming you meant "sub-board" when you wrote "group".

I suspect your description of the steps you performed is not accurate. The "Access requirements" are not cloned, and that is by design and as documented (e.g. in the online help of SCFG). However, when adding (not cloning) new sub-boards, the access requirements of the template sub (or last sub, if no template is specified) *are* used/copied for the newly created sub-board.

So if anything, it sounds like maybe what you're reporting is that new sub's access requirements *are* copied from the template sub-board (when creating a new sub), when maybe they should not be (having all subs with the same access requirements doesn't really make sense).
