    Maybe I did not get your point, but in general - I saw that. Customer with windows, with proprietary SW wants to communicate with you - and linux converters are not accurate.

    And as far as I know the FREE upgrade to Win 10 still works.
    I did it back in September on a Toshiba Laptop

    I did a Windows 10 installation using a Windows 7 OEM license around
    the same time in September and it worked for me. I bought a legit
    Windows 8 license some time ago and it's worked with Windows 10 ever
    since.
