Not that much snow in the mountains, though. Going to be a dry summer.
Supposedly happening here in about two weeks.
Are you still taking trips up here to Canucksville?

Yeah? That would be nice. Over the last 4 days with this damn snow I'm fi name basis with 4 different tow companys and all their dispatchers.
My wonderful neighbor doesn't shovel his driveway at all, was
hilarious to watch him have to get a flatbed tow for his precious
Tesla.

No, my responsibilities have changed, and I'm not supporting wind farms any more. Too bad, Port Hardy BC was some beautiful country!
I've never understood people who don't shovel. It sucks yes, but you
need to do at least a path to the door and a path to get your car out.

He does NONE of that. Our driveway is shared...

Oh FFS. Time for a rumble strip on your side of the driveway? LOL When
I had my townhouse the neighbour I shared the driveway with was a nice
older guy, so I would shovel his side at the same time, once he moved and
a new person moved in who had teenagers at home, I just did my own side.

There was about 2" of snow that fell overnight at my place last night. Nothing to get excited about but I have to go to a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I am hoping that with the high temp being 36F (2C) that the sidewalks will be clear enough for me to safely use my mobility scooter on.
Waited for a knock that didn't come, apologizing and attempting to
explain herself. Instead, she got up early and drove over her own
flowerbed and a curb to get out.
Fargo where the old man does the "so I says, then he says" routine.
Hilarious random comments with a hint of widsom and a hint of

That's hilarious... HEY.. you making fun of me? :-)
I worked with an older women who "so's I turned around and I said, I turned around and I said" I once asked if she got dizzy, but she didn't hear anyone when she was talking as she was too busy spinning in circles.
He passed away, donated a ton of money to the local JC that he

Tight community.

Do older women in the Shwa have all their hair and teeth?
Not as a rule. Mostly the hair and teeth fall out around 14 after 4 years o meth addiction. I think The mayor gives cocaine and meth to the children on their 10'th birthday. Get 'em addicted young!
I'm not too crazy about Brantford so far... (pronounce it with a
dracula voice). Some parts are okay but a lot of leftovers from that
armpit Hamilton.
My cousin lived in Brantford when my daughter was born and she helped
a lot in the first few months due to my wife (at the time) being sick.
So that was in early 1992, I haven't been back since. (Cousin moved to Alberta)

Brantford is a long drive to bye old network equipment.
Pats his new Mikrotik on the head.
Some friends of mine had suggested I move to Calgary or thereabouts.
I've been out there a few times, its nice.
If it wasn't for some aspects of work and a few other things I'd be a "digital nomad"; able to live and work anywhere with a laptop and
Wifi.
Meh, I can't even give away all the tech crap here.

I have a new OM starting this week, so once she's all settled in I'm going to work on getting permission to work from home. Everytime I connect the work laptop it goes through their VPN anyway so all their keyboard trackers can continue to watch me work. LOL
I'm getting ready to drive into the office now (Sunday) but I could easily do everything from here.
Speaking of tech crap, I never did recap that Tandy...
I have a new OM starting this week, so once she's all settled inIs there a good chance your employer overlords will approve that? That would be very cool if you could work remotely.
Two customers on my particular contract require onsite visits on a
regular basis. If it wasn't for them I would probably never leave the house.
The worst part of my job is driving HOME every day. Sure it's just Ajax
to Oshawa, the drive to work is 15 mins. Coming home is an hour or more, and I've tried every road there is from west to east. :)

Thats brutal... Even if you took Victoria st south of 401?
I have an old NAS chassis, I should throw all of my old drives in it
and use it to back up my current NAS. What else am I going to do with
a box of 2TB drives with 8-10 years of spin time on them?
Nothing super important but some TV shows I have would be hard to replace. (Max Headroom and the Chris Isaac show to name 2 of them - very hard to find
Oh yeah. That doesn't work anymore it's packed, I jsut stay on highway 2 an it's as fast as any other way. The 401 is useless.
I agree, those were hard to find.

I've been trying to find "Quincy, M.E." for years, including the three made-for-TV movies which were a prequel (sp?) to the actual show.

How about Taunton? I lived in North Oshawa before I was transferred to Ottawa during my suit days. At the time Taunton Rd was my goto. :-)

When I was in the Army stationed at Fort Hood in the mid to late 90s,
they had "Auto Repair Shops". Large buildngs with 6-8 full-size auto
bays in them, omplete with hydraulic lifts and tools or toolboxes you could rent. To rent a bay for a day was cheap, like $10. I spent many
a weekend there fixing my own car or helping others.
