    Hello All,

    I suffered a major heart attack today. Turns out I have threer blockages in my heart and will be undergoing open heart surgery possibly Monday or Tuesday.
    I will try to keep you all updated as I have my laptop and decent WiFi in my hospital room.

    I'd say 'Relax' but that would probably be redundant, at this point...

    My old man survived. And he needed to have his chest cracked, too. Quintuple bypass. Yep, five blocks, and five new 'arteries'.

    Stubborn old man went back to work a month later, too, despite my insistance that he take it easy.

    You got this, Sean. If he can do it, you can!

    I won't be there when you wake up...sorry, but you're not my dad. But I honestly hope that the person you hold closest to your heart is there when you do, sir...I know for a fact that my dad needed me to be there when he woke up. Possibly the best moment of my life, right there.

    I was back in the hospital early last week, with sinus tachycardia,
    angina, and respiratory palpitations. I apparently have congestive
    heart failure to go with my atrial fibrillation. They drained 10 pounds
    (over a gallon) of fluid off of me with Lasix.

    I see my PCP on Tuesday to get confirmation (still haven't heard from
    the cardiologist, who is apparently snowed under with appointments)...and
    I see the eye doctor tomorrow, to see if possible glaucoma is affecting
    the peripheral vision. If that's the case, it either means the end of
    night driving, or driving entirely.

    I'll be praying that all goes well for you...at least we're both still
    on this side of the grass.
