Been working on these 2 projects and they actually sort of work together in a cool way, basically imagine a BBS chat room where it can tune
a station, broadcasted by someone with whatever they want to stream, https://github.com/hmderdoc/telnetvision and

So I went ahead and created a little Linux script to play 24/7 random Simpsons episodes.

Come on down to ezycom.retroswim.net:2323 and try [T]elevision under the doors menu.

It's slightly sketchy script running as a systemd unit, basically all the parts except the door.exe itself are just in loops to they restart if they fall over. Been working for a few hours, fingers crossed it'll hold up to a few people trying it! :D

If you do somehow manage to get your own telnetvision broadcast going, you can tune an avatar chat room channel to a broadcaster by typing
(using my domain as an example) `/tvtuner futureland.today
7601 cam` - the params being server-url, port, and channel-name.

I don't have the port 7601 open, but I'm going to deploy AvatarChat and do all that investigation next.

Getting the broadcast going was enough excitement for me today! '

Primarily syncterm if you want higher than 80x50 resolution. Netrunner works with 256 colors at 80x50 (half blocks). Icyterm might work, I haven't tried
it but it generally does what syncterm does. Terminator on android tries,
but falls on its face.

Well, you could go higher but there's a serious bug with custom screen
settings in syncterm. 132x60 is the highest native mode. It should look decent on relatively any monitor or aspect ratio now-a-days.
