    Years ago, I had the Cakewalk brand software for doing
    the sheet music for songs I had done over the years, but
    when I did music, the accompaniment was mostly chordal
    improvisation. I know there's software where you can add
    instruments, etc., but does that also expand to notation
    patterns, etc. for the accompaniment chordal structures??

    It's a lot better than writing it out by hand, plus I
    think it's a bit difficult to buy just regular sheet music
    anymore.

    Doesn't Cakewalk have this ability? It's a pretty feature packed program.
    Maybe there's a Cakewalk users forum that may be able to assist.
