• Piano Brands

I've still got a Story and Clark Piano here at the house
(which was my late parents home, but is mine now)...yet, it
hasn't been played in years...so I'm sure it's out of tune.

In looking back, had I had a piano to work on, I might have
looked into becoming a piano tuner. Many older churches still
have upright spinet pianos, and they need tuning every so
often. I have "perfect pitch", but at my age now, it's too
late to worry about starting a career in such. However, I
understand that piano tuners are in high demand.

Anyway, I was thinking about some of the other piano brands,
as it were. Yamaha (sp?) is the first one that comes to mind,
but I forget the other brands offhand.

Many of the old pianos are being replaced by electronic
ones, but there's still a bit of "nostalgia" with the old
    pianos.

The first one that comes to my mind when talking about pianos is Steinway.
