I have need to run a 16bit door on a 64bit Windows Server Standard 2022 operating system.

I am running Synchronet 3.21e BBS and have read through the Synhcronet Wiki on how to do it.

Looks like I need to start here and install "NTVDMx64" but when I download the file it's asking for a password that I don't know and can't seem to find anywhere.

Anyone know the Zip password and if it's even possible to run a 16bit door on a 64 bit modern Windows system without running a VM?

I figured out the password. Starting to work the this now. Anyone have success with run 16bit door in a 64bit Win Server environment without a VM? Looking to run a Barren Realms Elite server on Synchronet.

It's on the site! Just look. I don't remember what it is, just that it's on the download page. You can, as long as you're not required to use netfoss, which you aren't with sbbs.

I would not do a Vm I would do a docker image to run all dos games , so
if you change your bbs software, the door server keeps working, then you
od not need to mess with anything. I have a docker project you can try
if you want
