• binkp Issue

From greyb34rd@23:400/12 to All on Saturday, October 17, 2026 19:13:02
I'm having an odd issue with binkp (or at least I think it's odd, I've never dealt with it directly before).

I've set up my BBS as a point node (I have point nodes working to both Synchronet and OpenXP from the same BBS) for Fidonet from my Mystic BBS. Binkp is connecting fine but it's not sending my netmail from the point node.

Binkp is working fine for SysopNet but I just can't seem to get it to work right for Fidonet (which I believe I have configured as my main net in binkp.

I've pasted a copy of my config here: https://pastes.io/MOtElqmR?syntax=bash

Any help or advice is very appreciated!

Mystic's Binkp is 1.0, most feeds require 1.1. Use binkd instead.

First of all, sorry for getting all my "bink"s messed up. So many (bink{d,p,IT})!

Thank you, your suggestion helped me track down where the issue actually was. And it was in fact on the Mystic BBS acting as the hub. I had missed enabling CRAM-MD5. Once I did that things started flowing to Vision/3 (binkd) exactly as expected!
