if you were starting a brand new door today from nothing, what
language would you actually reach for and which drop file library, if
any, would you build around i've been kicking around an idea for one
but i keep going back and forth on whether to use something
classic like pascal or just go with whatever i'm already comfortable
with. lately ive been playing around with python curious what's
actually worked well for people who've done this pweck sysopnet

I've been using Go, exclusively for it's superior win32 support. Can also build win64 and all Linux ports. I'm using cursor with it.

I wasn't either, but it was suggested and Cursor does a really good job with it.

I just had cursor help me create a new message area door for Ele. It's
pretty solid, but took several hours of prompting (and me running out of credits once...). I might look for a more cost effective alternative.
