From Floris van Unen@23:500/12 to All on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 12:39:48

    Hello everybody!

I'm 48 year old male living in The Netherlands. In my youth i joined a computer-club locally and they introduced me to Technet (111:y/z) so i became a point using ppoint and binkleyterm, as well as Tmail and Terminate. It was fun dialing into a few BBS'es but also have discussions globally via FTN.
When i started to study Information and Communication Technology and got my bachelor degree i focused more on Internet, worked at several massive large websites in my country and have done all perspectives from Change Coordinator business-side to Technical Account Manager serverside and from to Technical Lead at an Operations team to a Migration Specialist towards public clouds. Currently working as SRE DevOps in a team of 8. Next to my fulltime job i have a sole proprietorship just for the fun of it, doing a bit of Hosting and Consultancy.

I started to use FTN again a few years ago and am a bit of a hoarder of networks (see fido.unen.net)
Currently using the Fidian package which is Husky & Binkd & Golded.

    That's about it,
    Regards,
    Floris

You only have 19 networks. I have 22 :) I actually have 41 if you want to count all the dead networks that I have archived.
