  • directCD doesn't work under XP Pro

    I am able to use Roxio's directCD just fine on my wife's laptop, running XP Home, with default setting for CD burning in WINXP. On my desktop, running WINXP Pro, it doesn't recognize the CD-RW as a directCD and attempt to copy them rather than treat it as a directCD.

    Both machines have the default setting, i.e. Admin Tools/Services/IMAPI CD Burning/Startup type = manual. I tried setting Startup type = manual but it didn't make any difference.

    Besides EZCD I also have MusicMatch, Windows Media Player and Feurio
    Installed.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Get a latest updated driver for cdrw/directcd.
