Hello - Recently my cursor has changed shape. The arrow that I move
with the mouse is intact, but when I click in a TEXTBOX, like the one
I am using to post this message, the normally "I"-shaped cursor
becomes something like the FLAG one uses mark a golf hole. That is, it
has a wedge shape at the top, tapering to the right. I could probably
make a screenshot of this, but I wouldn't know where to send it.
Recent activity: the only thing I've installed recently is the MS
Japanese global IME, so that I can type Japanese in Word instead of
merely displaying the fonts on the browser. (There is another problem
with the IME, but in general it works).
I don't know if my machine has a virus, if someone is remotely
recording my every keystroke (a scary thought!), or if this is merely
a case of corrupted files. Does anyone know what's going on?
Many thanks.
