originally i just got 1 hardisk and it has 3 partitions(C,D and
    E).After i add a new hardisk,it become c,d,e and f drives,it is a
normal condition, but the new hardrive now become D drive and the
original D and E drive before the new hardisk has added now become E
and F drive.i got many files that are refer to the original E drive
and now cannot run again.how this problem can be solved?got any method
to change the D drive letter(new hardisk) to F drive letter?
i am using Windows 98.Thanks for ur reply.

windows 9x will assign a second primary partition as D:

to make the 2nd drive your F: drive
either fdisk and delete it , then repartition it as logical

or else just diable it in the bios...windows should then pick it up as F:
