  • USB Port drivers disappear

    I have a Mermaid Computer, using an AMD K6 350Mhz microprocessor using a
    Win ME Operating System.

    Whilst trying to scan a photo, I noticed the scanner although fully
    installed would not work.

    Checking the System Manager, I noted that the little "fork" symbol for
    the computers USB Ports was missing. I can only assume there fore that
    the port drivers have been deleted for some reason or have ben corrupted.

    Using the computers Recovery Disk did nothing to resolve the problem, I assumed it would have the computer port USB drivers on it, but
    apparently not.

    Can any one shed light on this problem ? Can you tell me where I can
    obtain another set of USB Port Drivers?
