• Office Assistant, randomly showing up

After installing XTNDConnect PC (synch software for data exchange
between Outlook/Ericsson phone book and cellular phone), the "Office
Assistant" is showing up randomly if Outlook is on. Even turning the
Assistant off manually doesn't help to let this annyoing guy
disappear. Any ideas how to get rid of him forever :-) ?? Many thanks
    to the readers out there.

Wow, fabulous site! Only, that I did not (yet) find the exact link to
the solution of my ever so nasty problem. Could you please help out
    with this? Thanks!

"So, Mr Slumpy you *really* are the perpetual comedian, aren't you ?" I
threw back my head and roared with laughter as Serious continued:

We had the same problem at work, she'd waltz in at all hours, always looking like she'd been in a threesome until 6am, and then insist on slapping her
face on while she drank coffee, then going off for lunch.

We forced her into the shredder in the end....

    Hi folks,

this is the SMS-Integration feature of the SonyEricsson software. Guess this happens only if Outlook is loaded ?

Too bad I have only installed the german language pack where "Extras->Textnachrichten..." is responsible for the Office Assistant to show while the aforementioned Outlook-plugin tries to synchronize the SMSīs with your mobile phone connected via bluetooth or infrared.

In the configuration tabs in Outlook there should be a tab called "Textnachrichten" or SMS or else in your language pack. There, you can configure the synchronization intervals.

    Have luck,

hopefully I have helped you !

    Bye,
