    Hi folks,
don't know whether that's an appropriate thing or not,
but I have found out that
if I change priority of "explorer" process to "high" (it is "normal" by default) , using task manager (winXP),
    windows interface "works" much faster.

Is there a way to call explorer on start-up with high priority, so I won't
    have to
edit this setting every time computer boots up?

Well, if you right-click the item in Task Manager , you'll be able to change priority of process. :))

    XP and it works
