    Hallo,
Just got a new Acer Aspire notebook with Windows XP as operating
system, and wanted to install my MS Office 2000 package on it. When I
insert CD 1 of Office, the notebook doesn't process it correctly. It
does acknowledge that the CD is in the drive, and I can also display
the properties correctly (like e.g. total disc space used), but it
does neither autostart the Office installer, nor can I display the
contents of the CD in the explorer. It's just displayed as empty disc.
Where's the problem? CD 1 still works just as fine on my desktop PC as
it always did, and when I insert CD 2 into the notebook, there's no
such problem, either. The contents are displayed correctly and the
autostarter runs, too. Hope somebody can help. Thanks!
