  • excessive disk activity in win2k

    Hi;

    It is a while that at start up I have excessive disk activity for
    nearly 5 minutes. This excess activity, together with considerable
    slowdown in system, is repeated roughly every hour after the startup
    and is driving me crazy.

    Has anyone had a similar experience, I have already defragmented my HD
    but the problem has not been solved.

    any help, preferably by email, is highly appreciated.
