• Will the CFFA3000 ever be open-source?

Back when Rich Dreher was making them, I bought a couple of the CFFA3000 cards. As time passes, and as I see that he is no longer making new CFFA3000 cards, I have started wondering whether perhaps he would ever consider releasing the source for the CFFA3000 so that others could make new CFFA3000 cards or so that others could make CFFA3000 FPGA cards.
Does anyone know whether Rich has plans to release the source for the CFFA3000? Thank you!

There's more copyright holders than just Rich on that project, so it's
not just up to him. So the short answer is "probably not," but as the question has been asked many times in the past and never answered in the affirmative, I think you probably have your answer too.

That’s interesting , do you know who they are and what? Are we talking
    about the firmware?
