• Buying some 14MHz 65c816's

It is looking likely that I will order 1 lot of 65c816's from WDC.
Before I do, does anyone know of a source for loose chips? If I don't
get a source for the loose chips, does anyone want to stake a claim to
any chips from the purchase (at cost)?

I am pleasantly surprised at the response I have received (by email)
to this. Enough interest that I am almost certain to place the order.

To answer some of the questions in one spot: the plan was to get $100
worth of 44 pin PLCC chips. The woman I spoke to at WDC said that
$100 would be enough for about 15 chips - but that was just off the
top of her head. Now that several people have expressed interest in
some of the chips (some people in 40 pin DIPs), I have asked WDC for a
firm quote and if I am allowed to order a mix of DIP and PLCC chips.
I'll post when I get an answer.
