  • backup Vulcan fails

    Have IIe and a Vulcan power supply/hard drive

    I try to backup the Vulcan to 800k floppies

    At the end of floppy one message says
    "write error" and backup stops
    the floppy is full but process does not move on

    It does not say "please insert next floppy"

    how can I fix this?

    Did you just make the one attempt or did you try a second time?
    If so did you use the same floppies?

    tried several times
    found a few bad blocks on the Vulcan so now trying to fix that
    then will try again
