• Problems with booting game after ADT-transfer - Xevious.dsk

    Hello!

I have transferred a disk-image using ADT v.091 GS-version of the "Xevious"-game, originally downloaded from Asimov. I have used the
same image with success with emulators, type AppleWin.

The ADT-transfer itself of the image onto 5.25" floppy was OK, no
error messages reported during transfer. But I do not get to start the
game from floppy, I have tested on three A2 systems:

    1) IIGS: reports - "error#8" when starting the floppy from DOS33. I am
    able to catalog the disk.

    2) IIC: - get s the "Xevious" splash screen, the floppy-drive haults
after some seconds ending in two beeps. On second attempt, "error#8"
    is reported.

    3) II+: Crashes after a few seconds attempting boot, shows a line of
    hex-codes.

Is there anything wrong with this particular DSK-image. I've used my
ADT-setup on many other files withoug problems.

    Any feedback appreciated!

Worked fine for me on an enhanced //e afterbeing dowloaded toa Mac and transferred with MacADT. No problems of any kind, unless you count the screen-flicker that I'm attributing to a slow blitter routine.
