    Hi there,

    Does anyone know something about a text based music editing system
    called Forte for Applle ii? It seems to have been programmed in around 1979-1980, by Gary Shannon who made music routine for Programmer's Aid
    #1. I guess it works like PLAY statement on GW-BASIC or
    something...right?

    I have no docs though. The binary file "CLEMENTI 1" is a "song" for
    FORTE ... one can LIST it and from that figure out pretty much how
    FORTE is programmed.
