• Anyone need some floppies?

I have a 50 pack of color assorted FujiFilm Mac OS formatted floppies that are brand knew and never been opened.

These are useless to me as all the floppy work that I do is on PC disks, so I will be needing to buy some PC floppies soon at Walmart, Target, Best Buy,etc... . Reformatting every floppy for PC is just too time consuming.

If anyone is interested let me know.

This is ludicrous IMHO, since reformatting is
suggested in any case. Never trust the formatting
as is at the time of purchase. Many times my drive
was unable to use a preformatted disk.

They're probably HD, and of no use to me with my GS. Thanks for the offer, though.

What kind of floppies? Like, are these 800k DS/DD 3.5" diskettes?

    << You still use floppies? <just kidding> >>

Yes I do as well as Zip, ORB, CD-R, CD, CF, SD, and other media technologies.

Floppies are really useful for small files and floppies are throw away media. My laptop does not have a burner and besides it would take longer than just transfering small word files to a floppy. Flash drives are way too expensive and are not throw away. Floppies are dog cheap and perfect for what I do. My work does not rotate around large files.

Yes they are. GS's cannot use them? Oops I am sorry for posting this then.

    Where do you buy disks?

    Standard 1.44 mac formatted.

I did not realize it, but I just remembered that Apple II's cannot read 1.44 floppies. I am sorry for posting this.

Q- Where do you buy floppies? I see them being sold everywhere, but I almost never see any 800K disks.
