If you're in Vancouver BC on December 2 the ApplesBC 25th anniversary
meeting might be of interest. For strictly Apple IIers along with the
other Apple IIs we'll have Apple II serial # 92 and one of our founding
members Gary Little says he will be there. I hope he's into some book
signing since I plan on bringing a few. Last time we had #92 out was
5 years ago and I didn't have a camera on hand. Won't happen this time.

For the people with an interest in other Apple products, we've so far
arranged to have an Apple III, Lisa, Newton, 128k Mac, Mac portable,
Mac II, IIfx. There'll likely be a few others by then. I know we'll
be demoing a thunderscan but I've left the software side to the people
    bringing the hardware.

We'll either have a projector or computer running old Apple commercials.
So far that's it but I'm sure we'll add to it by the meeting.

Hopefully you meant, "it will happen" because I'd like to see those
    pictures.

    Happy Birthday ApplesBC!

Congrats on the 25th Anniversary! Having an Apple II serial #92 is very cool.

Be sure to tell Gary Little that bunches of Apple II and IIgs users still look up stuff in his books.

There is an earlier one, #88 that I could have tried for but the fellow
with #92 is coming to this meeting so it was easy to ask him. Also Woz
came to an earlier anniversary meeting and signed the power supply on
this . If I remember correctly, I was told that of the first batch of
IIs 4 came to Canada, two to Winnipeg and two to Vancouver. Both the
Vancouver ones are still in the hands of the original owners.

I'll mention that to Gary and that his name crops up often enough in newsgroups.
