  • where to find superdrive controller card

    Is there any place to find the Apple FDHD Superdrive controller card
    ("Apple II 3.5" Controller Card") these days (other than watching and
    waiting on Ebay)? I can find the Superdrive itself, but the controller
    card, not so much.

    Are these cards particularly rare/expensive on the secondary market?

    I'd try contacting Mr. Bill Garber http://garberstreet.netfirms.com/ . He
    seems to be good at providing stuff like that :-)

    If you just want the card for the ability to read/write MS-DOS disks in
    order to transfer files to and from your Apple II, it's probably much
    cheaper to just get an old mac, copy the files to the mac and appletalk them
    to the A2.
