    Hi,

I have a Sirius 8meg ram board for the IIGS and would like to know what
the jumpers settings are for? Well, OK the 1024/256 is obvious but the
    others? Crow0, Crow1,7.5, D4/D6?

    Thanks,
    Wayne

I have one also and would be interested in knowing more
about the jumpers as well. If anyone has a complete manual
it would be greatly appreciated if they could scan it in and
pass the info along to Wayne and I.

    Thanks,

    Well Heck Jason,
I got that thing with the card. What else ya got? ;-)

That would be about it. I think that is all they sent with it when I
bought mine. I think I got it about 2 or 3 years ago.

    Oh well,

Are you Sirius? Now I have to talk to Tony Diaz.
And right in the middle of his getting ready to go
to KFest. Maybe I'll email AllTech and see what they
have to say. You'd think something that costs that
much would have a nice manual, like the MicroDrive
cards I use to build my hard card. It's 17 pages not
including the warranty page. Oh well, I run 4 mb
now coz no matter what simm is where it errors
out at the same location. Too bad I bought it used
off eBay. No one to run to. Thanks, Jason.

yeah, that's all they come with, just a single page.
and not to be outdone, I had made this nicer .pdf if you prefer. the only
bit I couldn't get right was the angled text at the top. Acrobat hacked down the font resolution on me, and I'm not sure how to fix it.:

    http://home.iprimus.com.au/figjams/Sirius RAM IIGS.pdf

if that doesn't work try this one:

Kool Mark. This one works fine. That is great for normal
settings, but I'd like to know if I can use it as a 6 mb card.
I'm sure there must be a way to set it that way.

I don't know if it will do 6MB. If it did, then I think they would have
sold it that way. I think they just had 0 or 2, 4 and 8 when I bought
    mine.

    Hope this helps,

The jumpers don't seem to matter. I got mine as a
4MB card, popped 4 more 1MB SIMMs in and got
    8MB.

One thing to remember about the Sirius if you are
using it in a ROM 3. You still need to populate it
with 8MB to get eight working megabytes even
though you'd think you need only 7MB since there
is 1MB on the motherboard. If you don't you will
    get errors.

I populated it with 8MB on my ROM 3 and it
worked flawlessly until I stopped using my IIGS.

There were two different Sirius 8mb cards. With the original one
automatically recognized the RAM on the card. The second one was
a bit different, the jumpers controlled how much RAM the card
    recognized.
