Does anyone know if the Apple Multiscan 17" monitor works with a IIgs?

According to this site it won't work. But maybe you'll find more ;-)

The only other monitor I know of, that does sync at 15khz is the NEC
    multisync 3DS. Unfortunately it's a long way off 17".

IIRC Apple made some monitors in the early 90s that would work with either a Mac or an Apple IIgs. I remember one monitor even had integrated ADB ports that supposedly worked with a IIgs, so you could plug your keyboard and
mouse into the monitor instead of the IIgs--I'm not sure why that would be useful though.

    Thanks Ole,

Thanks Ole, you're right. The required 15.75 kHz scan frequency is *way*
    out of those specifications.

    It will not.

I checked references at Apple's web site, but they don't indicate whether or >not it can scan down to 15.75 kHz.

It can't, but even if it could, the //GS is interlaced.
