Kid, shut up and learn. Quit arguing your points like a child. Your PC at these times can only do beeps and only had 1 color (green). The other was black. Also, alot of the PC games are hardly more than clones of each
other. Lack of originality. As a matter of fact, it is essentially the same game with slightly different looking buildings and enemies but they look essentially the same. I really like to see more original games. There is 3 basic styles of how games are made these days for the most part. DOOM style but more color and higher resolution, the Final Fantasy X style game play,
and 3d Simulation for Race Car games & Aircraft games. The first two is
the most promidant. Some of the FRPG has more of a early Playstation style FRPG. This really isn't that diverse. Thinking about 16 Million colors. So what.

The lame trolling attempt on your part aside, M.U.L.E. was a great game for
its day and I still find replay value in it now from time to time (if I
could only find the disk again!). In the early 1980s, we had no clue what computers would be like now 20 years later. Your flaming of M.U.L.E. would
be like someone coming into the newsgroups 20 years from now and flaming a current game that you really like.

Oh yes, back in 1985, I was doing quite well with my Atari 600XL (expanded
to 64K) and 127K 5.25" disk drive (model Atari 1050). Also, I even had a
tape drive, model Atari 1010. Add to that an XM301 300 baud modem a year later.

Ouch, I really hope Dani Buten does not hear this wherever she is now :-(
Man you really are an ignorant, this game basically set the standards for strategy games 20 years ago out of nowhere. It basically invented the basic mechanisms, while most games nowadays are just clones of each other this
game was a strike of a genious, there basically was nothing you could copy
when this game was created. To ignore this basically just means you simply
are an idiot not even worth touching the works of Dani Bunten.
(I still can remember seven cities of gold and how far advanced it was for
its time, the first game which came close and maybe surpassed it in this
genre was civilization, but seven cities of gold has to be rated much
higher in my opinion due to the fact that it basically was the first game
of its kind on the computer, besides that a technical masterpiece given the limits of early eighties computer technolgy.

In this case a troll wo rides ignorantly on the achievements of death
people. I wonder if he even was able to achieve one percent of gaming
    concepts dani bunten invented.

Ah the real way to play it was on an Atari 400 that had a key board that
didn't even have real keys but just these plastic sort of pda pushing

Actually, I do have an Atari 400 with the original flat keyboard. It could
be a collector's item at some point but I couldn't imagine ever seriously
using such a keyboard in the first place! I guess it would have given incentive for someone to buy the 800 instead!

eww I remember those keyboards...wonder what Atari genius came up with
those. They were awful! And I did buy the 800 for just that reason! :)
