    Hello,
I boght a 4016 today which is in awesome nick – except the keyboard that needs a bit of attention. The SHIFT LOCK key does not work (broken, can not be repaired) and some keys are "sticky" although thoroughly cleaned.
Any tips for a more effective cleaning of the keyboard?
If not: Anybody got a source for NOS?
Bonus question: The 4016 misses it's front label (the big black one that says Commodore CBM 4016 computer". Any idea if someone makes repros?
    Best
    Armin

If a complete disassembly and cleaning of the keyboard still results in sticky and non-functional keys then yes a replacement is your only option.

No NOS keyboards that I've ever seen, but CBM/PET can be found occasionally on eBay.

Apologies I don't recall their direct website, but reproduction front labels can be found on eBay as well.

FYI, I'm not an advocate for eBay and don't get me started on their Global Shipping Program, it is just that sometimes it is a necessary evil that needs to be checked.

Unfortunately, the ebay seller you mean is only selling the US version of the labels.

Hi Robert. Any chance yall are going to have your meetings this year?
I'm from Sacramento and can fly down in my plane to Fresno executive
    airport.

We've spoken before on the CBM echo on Fidonet. This was before the
virus hubub. Anyway, I have a C64 currently being restored and recently purchased a MPS803 off ebay.
