Greetings all,
It is looking good for another Micro Mart show and retro feature area for this year (In UK).
If this does happen, here is some ideas we have (from Commodore side of things);
Emulator/Simulator corner - Showing programs such as KIMplement, FAT 40 (Vic 20), Spectulator etc....
Retro arcade - I would love to get some old arcade machines there, know where to get them, just need an OKAY from the powers that be.
C64 Internet Cafe - Many C64's surfing the net.
SIDHeaven - A celebration of SID music.
Demo corner - showing some of the best demos. Also, if anyone wants to present their latest wares then just bring a disk.
GEOS area - Speaks for itself.
Games - Three sections. Firstly, classic games (Such as IK+), Remakes & hacks (IK+ Gold for instance), New & recent software ie, Protovision, TND etc...
Okay, so it will all come down to space, money and volunteers to host each section - please contact me if you are interested. Again, I need to speak to the powers that be, but I should be able to cover travel costs (can't promise anything yet). Some sections might not make it.
The purpose of this post is to get feedback and improve on ideas etc.. Nothing is 100% certain yet, but some of you will know that the Micro Mart feature area for last years show was very sucessful.
