Yes, It's True. I got a hold of the code and have successfully ported
it to the C64, unmodified! Here are the specifics, I fit the compiled
code on a 8Mbit cartridge, and use the 1541 disk drive for swap file
    and save game files.

    Thanks Valve for the code!

    8-Bit :)

It was about fucking time you did that port. I was giving up my hopes.
Anyway, I hate to tell you I just finished a Win32 runtime based on WINE
that lets you run unmodified PE executables on your Commodore 64, so your efforts have been worthless. I can send you a preview, you'll just need to stick your PC Half Life 2 CD inside your 1541 and let it spin...Hours of
    fun...

Well trying to do bankswitching is hard when you have limited memory.
But it took awhile, but I got it done.

Great work! From the other announcements it can be seen that most of todays
FPS games have now been ported to the C64. Can someone please go and tell the sinclair guys? :-)

    Regards

Oh, the Peano-Panno troll already posted to the Sinclair, Oric,
MSX, Atari 8bit, Apple II and whoever knows which groups that
he had *different* 3D games ready for their platforms.
