• Sorry, sinclair's place in history (post didn't work)

`Sinclair` had a good place in history. Commodore did as well. But the
C64 took the Sinclair and ate it for breakfast.

Sinclair was a good design, with software. Commodore 64 was a great
    design, with great software.

25 million versus 2 million. Judge for yourselves.

    Sincerely,

    Paul Allen Panks

That was a truly terrible flamebait! Do please try harder!

    Please don't!

Well the C64 certainly sold more. However, I do believe that Kylie Minouge
has sold more records than Beethoven, Vivaldi, Brahms and Bach. Now, why I won't deny that she's an awful lot prettier than any of them, I'm not quite
so sure if it proves that she's any better?

The C64 already had it, and then came Sinclair. The C64 was Sinclairs
    prompt
    to make the Spectrum.

Anyway, it's all about the software. Commodore had loads more software
    than
Sinclair. It also had loads more CRAP software than Sinclair :).

Hmmmm if someone had something weird for breakfast that's probably you.
    LOADS more SOFTWARE?
Heck NOTHING (still) has more software than the Speccy dammit!

    . . uh?

And what was the point of this post? No question, no chance for a rational discussion - just a declaration of your supposed "logic".

Seriously, other than to spark off the flamewar, what was the point?
