A number of years ago, in the 1990-1995 range I think, I had a Commodore specific magazine that had an article in it on how to build an
uninterruptable power supply for the C64. I can't for the life of me
remember the name of the magazine! It was a pretty cool circuit for it, it
used 2 power transistors to generate the pseudo VAC from a DC gel cell.

Any ideas? Any idea the name of the magazine? Anyone remember this at all?
    :)

    Thanks!

Maybe someone out there has some issues archived by now ?????? ( hint -
    hint )

I have seen a Transactor archive mentioned several times in the past. I
didn't make a note of the URL, but maybe you could find it with Google.

    Hello All,

It is definitely in an issue of Commodore magazine. I have read the
article several times. My magazines are currently in storage, and I
expect it will be around late September or early October before I will
be emptying that storage unit. If you have still not located that
article by then let me know. I do know that it was in a very late
80's issue (I believe during 1988 or possibly 1989), and prior to the
RUN magazine merger. When I get everything out of that storage unit,
I'll be able to provide anyone who wants to know the exact issue
    number and year.

In the mean time, I wish you the best of luck locating the article.
