    Sorry to disappoint you, but it's well known that e-petitions aren't
    worth the paper they're printed on -- they're too easily forged.

    well if it's good enough for the Oliver Twins, it's good enough for me.

    well if it's good enough for the Oliver Twins, it's good enough for me.

    No sorry, you missed my point completely -- did you actually follow
    the link I gave, and read the article? (Mind you, I *did* forget to
    escape it, thus -- <http://www.breakthechain.org/armchair.html>.)

    My objection was not anything about Dizzy as such, but the
    worthlessness of e-petitions generally. The target of your petition
    (be it the Codies or the Olivers -- and the main flaw of many
    e-petitions is that they don't even *have* a target, multiplying their uselessness manyfold) is very unlikely to do anything with it except
    reach for the "delete" button.

    Just had a look at that page, and what do I see at the very top?:

    <quote>- The Dizzy Petition will end in September -

    When this happens a NEW Petition will be created</quote>

    In other words, it's a never-ending petition -- and therefore even
    less worth "signing" than the usual round of worthless e-petitions.

    To quote from the BreakTheChain link I gave:

    ====================>8====================
    Expiration. Does [the petition] give a timeline for the collection of signatures or a target number of signatures? Unfortunately, most
    [email] petitions continue to circulate long after any usefulness they
    may have once had has passed.
    ====================>8====================

    And from their page on the Bonsai Kitten petition:

    ====================>8====================
    Any cause can collect enough signatures if it's allowed to go on
    indefinitely - that's why most officials pay little attention to
    undated ones.
    ====================>8====================

    Not (as I've said) that I've got anything against Dizzy (having never
    played the games), it's just that e-petitions are totally not worth
    wasting one's time on...

    They ignored the N64 too, so I wasn't really interested in their games

    It's a shame the N64 and GCN are laughed at as toys for childs... :-(
