    You can start with PDFKit framework. You can read and write PDFs
    with NSView.

    A PDF in a CMS like Wordpress would most likely store the file as a file in it's wp-content/upload directory if you uploaded it from Wordpress UI or you can just put it there along with other media files and link to it in the
    code.

    Actually storing the PDF inside of a database is harder. It would depend on if your CMS allowed blob database types and what it did with them. At the very least, you'll have to write custom code to display it unless there's a plugin in Wordpress or Drupal that can store it.

    If you're looking for someone to actually do the work, try posting at some of the gig sites. If you plan on doing it, it depends on if you can code in the language your CMS uses (e.g. php or python or whatever).
