If anyone can tell me what the minimum essential system software
components are that I must have in order to make a ZIP 100 disk
bootable, I'd be most grateful, as I much prefer to run my weekly diagnostics and utilities in that way.

Why not just install the OS onto the ZIP disk with the installer?
