• how to use the archive in YM for MAC OS X

I install the latest version of Yahoo messenger for my MAC OS X. I
want to use the archive function in Yahoo messernger to store all of my chatting messages so that sometime I can re-read them.
However I cannot see the "archive" in the menu of the YM. In YM for
Windows, this function is very common. YM of MAC OS X does not support "archive"?

    Plz guide me!

    Thanks

You'll probably need a subpoena from a government or police agency to
    get the chat logs.

    Hi,

It doesn't have anything as "chat history". I just launched "original messenger". Yahoo pretty gave up messenger and they will merge with MSN messenger soon.

If you don't use "video" options, get Fire.app , a trustable opensource program to keep in contact with Yahoo friends. It does archive messages
    even spotlight compatible format.

    http://fire.sourceforge.net/

It is a native OS X cocoa application and free/simple.

Wow. I've never been able to use or view webcams over YM. "Servers are
busy". I thought that was 'normal'. Is there a special 'fix' required?

G4 AlBk 1.5GHx OS 10.3.9 (soon moving to Tiger)

    Thanks

There is "fix" for OS X 10.4.x there but I am near sure it will break
    things on 10.3.9
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29522

Nothing related to "busy" problem fixed of course.

Yes,they (Yahoo messenger team) are that pathetic to make an ordinary
user his own patch since he fed up.

I suggest trying this (without paying money, free version) to make Mac
    to PC video calls

    http://www.sightspeed.com/

It is multiplatform and even universal binary. (so it means they care)
