What about all the web sites which are openly speculating on Panther's features, user interface, etc.?

If all you want is speculation, why didn't you say so in the first
place? It sounded like you wanted a definitive answer, which no one
outside Apple can provide, not even people who currently have Panther
under the NDA. I mean even knowing what's included in the developmental releases doesn't tell you what will or won't be included when it
    actually ships.

For that matter, it is *possible* that no one within Apple can yet
provide a definitive answer as to whether IE ships with Panther (that
is...the decision may not yet have been made). I suspect the decision
    has been made, though.

    There are some "hints" available:

    1. How did you get your copy of IE 5.2.3? From Apple, or from
Microsoft? (Mine came from Microsoft and at that time Apple didn't
    offer it.)

    2. On my iDisk, OmniWeb is in the directory named below but Internet
    Explorer isn't.

    Software/Applications/Internet\ Utilities
