  • Error loading Microsoft Framework Library

    I purchased a new iMac running OS 10.4.5. I have loaded Microsoft
    Office 2004. When I open Excel or Word, I get the following Message "an unexpected error occurred while trying to load Microsoft Framework
    Library" If I click ok, the program goes ahead and loads, and appears
    to run ok. I've removed and re-installed and still get the same
    message. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

    Hi,

    First, I'd update my OS X to 10.4.6 via Software Update. You know, OS first.

    I bet this (and their support pages) will work

    You need to update anyway, that is a security update. (10.4.6 too)

    Ilgaz, Thanks for your help, I upgraded the Microsoft Office as you
    suggested, and that solved my problem. Somehow I missed seeing the
    upgrade.
