    Hi all again

I am posting this message, as I am having some problems with my HP
LaserJet 1300 Printer. Earlier today I tried to print a document from
Microsoft word, but could not get the printer to print anything. After
clicking on the printer icon the print open ups and. Then I click on
print and a second print window opens up. In addition a dialog box in background indicating that my document is being sent to the printer.
When this second print window opens I click on cancel and then the
printer feeds a sheet of paper through, but when comes out there is
nothing on it. Anyone out there know why this might be happening? Also
what should I do to fix this problem?

I am using an Ibook 500mhz with Mac OS 9.2.2 and 256mb ram. In
addition I have the printer plugged into my USB port using print
    monitor.

    Thanks in advance
    M. Graham

    Sorry, I can't help you.

But can you help me? What's your general opinion of the 1300 and its
quality of print (when it *is* printing)?

Several reviews (I didn't check carefully to see whether they were all
by the same person) have said that the quality of print of the lowe half
of characters is rather fuzzy, though other reviews have praised the
    printer.

Hi again for the 3rd day in row. I am still waiting to hear back from
    HP regarding my problem.

Well, in any event I am having some other problems now. I am able to
get the unit to print right in AppleWorks. It seems to want to print
portrait mode instead of landscape mode. In other for it to print in
landscape mode I must set it to print in portrait mode and that messes
up the page layout when I am preparing my document.

Before I close for today I have one quick question. I need to know
what the minimum margins are top, bottom, and right, left? I am asking
this, as I printed something before the machine started acting up and
it cut part of the text off on the right side if I remember right.
