• installing airport and memory cards

    Hi, I have a flat-panel iMac G4. I just bought a memory card from
Crucial and an Airport (NOT Extreme) from ebay. How do I install them?
The instructions at apple.com don't have any pictures, and I've never
opened up a computer in my life. I'm afraid I'll do something wrong.
    Thanks!
    Karen

Well... you very well might do something wrong. Either grab the bull by
the horns and damn the torpedos regardless of the expense, or find a
friendly geek or a Mac shop. If someone here can't help you, you might
    try <news:comp.sys.mac.hardware.misc>.

Apple's support site is often difficult to find anything in, but the
    info you want is there.

http://www.apple.com/support/imac/g4/doityourself/flatpanel/ has full instructions, pictures, and even movies showing how to add memory or an AirPort card.

    Did you got to

    http://www.apple.com/support/imac/g4/

There is a pdf file, an html explanation and a quicktime direction.
They all look like good instructions.
